Description

We are seeking highly capable and self-motivated PhD candidates for a few PhD projects in offshore renewable energies and offshore aquaculture.

Background: 

These PhD projects are part of a prestigious Future Fellowship awarded to Dr. Wenhua Zhao by Australian Research Council, to work on marine renewable energy. 

Scholarships:  

These scholarships provide stipend of AUD$42,000 per annum  (up to 3.5 years). International applicants may be eligible for an international tuition fee scholarship. 

So, your net income would be AUD$42,000 (tax free) each year.

PhD topics:  

Three PhD scholarships are available to cover each of the following topics: (1) Offshore wind, (2) Floating solar, and (3) Offshore aquaculture.

PhD requirement & duration: 

You should be able to start your PhD no later than Dec 2024, and have background in fluid mechanics or hydrodynamics,  preferably offshore renewable energy or coastal engineering.

PhD duration: 

3.5 years.
