TitleClinical Yarning Project - Midwest
Project opportunityClinical Yarning Project - Midwest
Description

Clinical Yarning is a patient-centred framework that re-frames clinical communication to be friendlier for Aboriginal patients. This mixed methods project is to implement Clinical Yarning across the WA Country Health Services (WACHS) - Midwest region of Western Australia. This will involve investigating the barriers and enablers to implementing Clinical Yarning, developing strategies to address these barriers (e.g. training and support for clinicians), measuring clinician, patient and health care service outcomes before and after implementation, and identifying determinants of change/lessons for future implementation.
