Description

This scholarship was established by Mrs. Ida Juett in memory of her late husband, Mr. Alexander Juett. It aims to support PhD candidates in gaining international research experience and to further explore Mr. Juett’s vision—that human health can be significantly improved by enhancing the nature and quality of food produced for human consumption.

It is intended to encourage and support PhD candidates undertaking agricultural research focused on improving the quality of food. Research may explore methods of enhancing soil fertility, plant nutrition, animal nutrition, or any combination thereof, with the ultimate goal of advancing farming practices and outcomes in Western Australia.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this specific scholarship an applicant must be:

  • intending to undertake a PhD in undertake agricultural research for the benefit of farming in WA,
  • be a UWA science graduate.
