Higher Degree by Research Application Portal

The University of Western Australia (UWA) provides a variety of scholarships that support students undertaking a Higher Degree by Research (HDR).

This scholarship round contains RTP, UPA and Philanthropic stipend scholarships enable at The University of Western Australia for up to two years for Masters by Research candidates and a maximum of three and a half years for Doctoral candidates.

Please note that by submitting an application in this scholarship round, you will automatically be considered for all available scholarships.

To be considered for a scholarship an applicant must:

• meet the HDR course admission requirements;
• meet the UWA HDR English language competence requirements by the application deadline; and
• be available to take up an offered scholarship by the commencement date advertised for that round.
