The Law School at UWA has one RTP scholarship available to offer to a domestic student, undertaking a PhD, MPhil or SJD in any field related to law or legal studies. Please visit here to identify a potential supervisor.

Applicants must hold a master or honours degree with a final result of first class honours (WAM of 80+ or HD).

This scholarship is available now for commencement before 31 March 2025.

Applications must be received before the closing date, when the school will meet to decide the successful awardee.

Applicants should communicate with academic staff  within the Law School to confirm their availability to supervise and support the research project.

Please note that the maximum tenure of stipend scholarships is two years for a Masters degree and three and a half years for a Doctoral degree. A student who has already completed part of the degree for which a stipend scholarship is granted will have the maximum period of tenure reduced accordingly. This scholarship cannot be awarded to an applicant who would have less than a year of scholarship tenure remaining.
