Description

Multiple full-time PhD positions are available in the areas of computer vision, machine learning, and augmented reality. Successful candidates will work on externally funded research projects involving the development of advanced computer vision and deep learning algorithms for a wide range of applications including health, robotics, precision agriculture, and/or augmented reality, to name a few. The selection of PhD topics will take into account the applicant’s interests, strengths as well as the requirements of the research funding bodies. Successful candidates will integrate a dynamic multidisciplinary team and contribute to new and exciting research.

  • Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of machine learning and/or computer vision as demonstrated by relevant publications (ideally in CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, PAMI, IJCV), research experience, and high marks achieved in relevant courses. 
  • Strong programming and problem-solving skills
