Thanks to a generous donation from the late Vladimir and Betty Hlavacek, the University is pleased to offer an annual PhD scholarship to recognise and encourage excellence in medical research.

This scholarship is offered to encourage and support a PhD candidate to undertake medical research.

To be eligible for this specific scholarship an applicant must be intending to undertake a PhD in a field of medical research, such as: Human Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science, Medical Engineering, Human Science.

Applicants must demonstrate that intended research is within the specific requirements of the scholarship and include evidence of support from the proposed academic supervisor.
