| Project description | This PhD project aims to develop Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models or World Action Models (WAM) for intelligent robots that can perceive their environment, understand human needs, predict future outcomes, and take appropriate actions. The research will explore how multimodal foundation models, video understanding, world modelling, and embodied decision-making can be integrated to support safe and adaptive human-robot interaction. The project will explore both the foundational techniques and domain applications, especially in healthcare. The project is suitable for students interested in computer vision, multimodal AI, generative models, robotics, and healthcare AI. |
