| Project description | 80% of the Australian continent is covered by conductive overburden which obscures the underlying minerals. One of the greatest challenges hindering resource exploration in Australia is the difficulty detecting the minerals hidden beneath. This nationally funded project is a collaboration between the University of Western Australia and Xcalibur Geophysics. This PhD project will unleash your creativity. It will position you to be part of future discoveries. You will test new innovative concepts and find critical solutions to important problems. Your technology will be proven and used in a commercial enterprise. Will you be part of it? Buried treasure, whether it be rich mineral deposits or underground water, will be within reach with our new technologies.
